Deals and checkout
What kinds of deals can Tierwise run?
Five: quantity-break tiers (buy 3 save 5%, buy 6 save 10%), a discount on every complete pack of N, Buy X get Y (for example buy 2, get 1 free or 50% off; the cheapest items are discounted), mix-and-match bundles with a percentage, amount or fixed bundle price, and a free gift once an order reaches a spend or item minimum.
Does the discount apply at checkout or only on the product page?
At checkout. Every Tierwise deal is a Shopify Functions discount, so Shopify itself applies it in the cart and checkout, including Buy it now and express checkout. The product-page table only shows the deal.
Do shoppers need a discount code?
No. Tierwise runs as an automatic discount. If a Tierwise discount is set to Method: Code, the app home flags it with a one-click fix.
Does it combine with my other discounts?
The ready-made discount combines with product, order and shipping discounts. For a discount you created yourself, set Combinations in Shopify's discount page.
How does quantity count: per product or across products?
Your choice per campaign: mix and match across every matching product (the default), per product, or per variant.
Can tiers be a fixed price per unit?
Yes. Each tier can be a percentage off, an amount off each unit or a fixed unit price.
Do I need Shopify Plus?
No. Tierwise is a public app built on Shopify Functions, which work on every Shopify plan.
Storefront and themes
Does it change my theme code?
No. The tier table, cart savings and bundle lists are theme app blocks, and the collection badges and cart drawer bar are app embeds. Nothing is written into theme code, and uninstalling removes them. It needs an Online Store 2.0 theme.
What styles does the tier table have?
Three: a tier table, bundle cards (one tappable card per tier with its saving and an optional Most popular badge) and compact buttons. A Best value badge and an opt-in urgency line (a countdown to an end date you set, or real low stock) are also available.
Does it work in a slide-out cart drawer?
Yes. The Cart Drawer Savings embed shows the next tier, free-gift progress and the amount saved inside Dawn-family and most other theme drawers, and refreshes after every cart change.
Which languages are included?
Storefront text ships in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal) and follows the shopper's language, unless you type your own wording. The app admin follows your Shopify admin language in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese.
Does it work with other currencies (Shopify Markets)?
Yes. Percentage tiers work the same in every currency. Free-gift spend minimums are set in your store currency and converted for the shopper's currency at checkout; the spend note on product pages is hidden when the shopper sees another currency.
Wholesale and order limits
Can wholesale customers get their own tiers?
Yes, on Pro. Fill in “Only for customers tagged” in a campaign; only logged-in customers with that tag get those tiers, evaluated inside Shopify's checkout.
Can I set minimum, maximum or pack-size quantities?
Yes, on Pro. Order Limits (Settings → Checkout → Checkout rules) sets min, max and multiple-of quantities per product, per collection or for the whole cart, plus cart subtotal limits, with your own messages and exempt customer tags. Checkout blocks an order that breaks a rule.
Plans, data and support
How much does it cost?
Free includes 1 active campaign (any deal type), every storefront widget and discount reports, with no order or revenue cap. Pro is $9.99/month or $99/year with a 14-day free trial and adds unlimited campaigns, wholesale pricing by customer tag and order limits. Billing is handled by Shopify.
Can I see whether it's working?
Yes. The app home shows orders that used a Tierwise discount and active campaigns. Show revenue compares sales and average order value of orders with and without your deals over 60 days; it reads order totals and discount names only, never customer details, and stores nothing.
What happens when I uninstall?
The theme blocks and embeds disappear with the app, and the Tierwise discounts stop applying. Nothing is left in your theme code.
