This policy covers Boardwright, the deck design app for iPhone and iPad published by Dixon App Studio (DixonAppStudio LLC, "we", "us"). The short version: Boardwright collects no data. On the App Store its privacy label is "Data Not Collected".
None. Boardwright has no account or sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no third-party SDKs. The app does not send your designs, measurements, prices or usage to us or to anyone else, and it does not track you across apps or websites.
Deck outlines, framing and board settings, span rules, lumber prices and project names are saved only in the app's own storage on your iPhone or iPad. We cannot see them. Like other app data, they may be included in the device backups you make with iCloud or a computer, under your Apple settings.
Boardwright asks for camera access only when you open AR measuring. Apple's ARKit processes the live camera view on your device to find the ground and place the corners you tap. No photos or video are recorded, stored or uploaded; only the corner positions you place are kept, as part of your design. You can turn camera access off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera, and draw or type your outline instead.
Boardwright Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, Apple ID, or payment details. Apple gives developers only aggregated sales reports, under Apple's own privacy policy.
When you share a text summary or export a PDF plan set, the file goes only where you send it with the iOS share sheet (for example Mail, Messages or Files). We do not receive a copy.
Delete a design in the app (swipe left on it, or long-press and choose Delete), or delete the app to remove all of its data from your device. Because we hold no Boardwright data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Boardwright is a planning tool for adults and is not directed to children. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If a future version ever changes what Boardwright collects, we will update this page and the App Store privacy label before that version is released, and change the date above.
